Following on from my last e-mail where all sport in the Army had been suspended until 31 May 20 that has now been updated to 30 Jun 20. With that in mind and the cancellation of the REME Festival of Sport the following events are all now cancelled:
UPDATE 6 – COVID-19: EXENSION TO THE SUSPENSION OF ARMY REPRESENTATIVE SPORT
ASCB COVID-19 Update 4 dated 19 Mar 20: 1355hrs, directed that all representative Army sport be suspended until 20 Apr. Please note that in compliance with the Government’s continuing response to COVID-19, with immediate effect all representative Army sport is further suspended until 30 Jun 20. This is to include all Overseas Visits and Training Camps. This suspension is subject to constant review and we will notify you as and when circumstances or policy change.

I have just had confirmation that neither the Navy or the RAF are running any track and Field events this year and will not be entering the Inter Services.
This decision has not been taken lightly but with no sport taking place until the earliest 30 Jun 20 and with the other 2 Services cancelling their season it would not be feasible to hold either the Inter Services Track and Field and the Army Track and Field Championships in Jul 20 as the athletes will have had no time to train or compete ahead of these events.
The Army 2020 Track and field Season is therefore cancelled
